This is the first work from the Sculptures for Brno project. It is located next to the historic building of the current Reduta Theatre, where Mozart gave concerts in his youth.
Mozart is portrayed as a prodigy, a charming artist, balancing on a stylized clavichord that forms the pillar head. He is naked to symbolize the desire for freedom. His posture represents a comical, rococo bow of the musician and at the same time a classicist-style allegory of joy, freedom and élan. With the composition of historical and contemporary elements, the work addresses the past and the present being in one piece a holder of significant visual quality.
