This monument was built to permanently commemorate the heroism of people who, for their convictions and for highly moral motives, sacrificed their freedom, health and lives in the fight against violence, despotism and dictatorship during the First and Second World Wars and during communist totalitarianism.
The work is in the shape of a simple triangular pyramid, its surfaces express three historical periods. In order to emphasize the historical context, the author lifted the basic mass of the pyramid into space through repetitive fractal structures.
